At AiMM & Co, teamwork normally means bringing together the skills, experience and craftsmanship needed to deliver exceptional projects for our clients.
Recently, however, teamwork meant something very different: walking the Leicestershire 3 Peaks and raising more than £2,000 for Cancer Research UK.
It was a challenge, a brilliant day for the team and, most importantly, an opportunity to come together to support a cause that means so much to so many people.
Taking on the Leicestershire 3 Peaks
Members of the AiMM & Co team swapped the workshop and project sites for walking boots as we took on the Leicestershire 3 Peaks fundraising challenge.
The goal was simple: challenge ourselves, do it together and raise as much money as possible for Cancer Research UK.
We originally set ourselves a fundraising target of £1,250, but thanks to the incredible generosity of everyone who supported us, we went well beyond it.
Our fundraising total reached £2,020, with a further £365 in Gift Aid – something the whole team can be incredibly proud of.
More Than Just a Walk
Taking on a challenge together is a great reminder of what makes a strong team.
There were plenty of miles to cover, some tired legs along the way and undoubtedly a few moments when the finish couldn’t come quickly enough – but everyone was there for the same reason.
Supporting each other. Taking on the challenge together. And raising money for an incredibly important cause.
Those same values of teamwork, determination and looking out for one another are important to us throughout AiMM & Co.
